01

Some spaces don't need an introduction.

A contemporary Belgian interior with natural oak, textured stone and soft daylight

You walk into a room, and everything feels considered.

The materials, the proportions, the light. Nothing seems accidental, even when the result feels effortless.

That same philosophy sits at the heart of Binnenlijn, an interior design practice focused on thoughtful residential and commercial spaces.

The challenge was to translate that approach into a digital experience that communicated more than beautiful interiors.

02 The brief

Let the work lead. Make the expertise visible.

An interior design portfolio creates an immediate impression, but prospective clients need more than inspiration.

They need to understand how the studio works, what kinds of spaces it designs and whether it would be the right partner for their project.

We developed a visual direction that gave Binnenlijn's projects room to stand on their own while making the thinking behind them more accessible.

03

A quieter visual language

The design takes its cues from architectural publications.

Large photography, carefully balanced layouts, understated typography and warm neutral colours define the experience.

We avoided unnecessary decoration and let proportion, detail and spacing create the personality.

The digital experience

Room for the work to speak.

The portfolio leads the experience. Generous imagery and a restrained hierarchy let visitors explore the spaces before looking more closely at the practice.

04

Projects, not just pictures

Instead of building a conventional image gallery, we organised the portfolio around project stories.

Each project introduces the space, the brief and selected design decisions.

Photography is supported by short explanations that show the work behind the finished interior.

Visitors can explore projects by category, making it easier to discover examples relevant to their own plans.

A closer look

The thinking behind the finished space.

Project stories bring the brief, materials and design decisions together, giving prospective clients more to consider than a gallery of beautiful rooms.

Making the next step feel natural

A new interior design project starts with a conversation.

We created a straightforward consultation journey where visitors can explain the type of space they're working with, their project location, approximate scope and preferred timeline.

The experience prioritises Dutch while providing an English version for an international audience.

The work remains the centre of attention, while visitors gain a clearer understanding of the expertise behind it.

Beautiful spaces deserve thoughtful presentation.
